Friends, How many of us have them?

Last week of school is here and reflecting back I've learned a lot. Yes, cliche but for me it's real. This past year I really went into observation mode. I wanted to see how people acted when they knew I wasn't watching them, after all that's when you see true colors. I needed to know if I was genuinely comfortable with the people I've surrounded myself with. I'd be lying if I said everything I saw was great. I've finally got to the point where I've realized where I stand with everybody. When you see characteristic flaws in people most of the time you cover it up with a "good" quality. But I brought to the light somethings that I tried to keep away and be in denial about. I've always put other people before me but keeping to myself this past year has really put me in a "I DON'T GIVE A FUCK" mode. I found the less I was talking to people the less I was concerned about their life, which gave me more energy to focus on mine. It was a feeling that I honestly never felt before, to actually ONLY think about my own problems. So now trying to get in the habit of calling my friends every week and asking how they have been? like I used to is like pulling teeth. Hmmmm only time will tell, but I'm going into another summer with more wisdom. And all the wisdom actually came from myself, there comes a point in your life when you realize you can't ask your friends what to do in EVERY decision, you have to think for yourself and I've learned more this way. All in All this past year has been mediocre, learing new things is great but how you learned them not so much :-/ but now that I know what I know I'm only settling for Great in the future :-)

I want an album from her....NOW

I've always had a thing for blue eyed soul; Amy Winehouse, Joss Stone, Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake, Teena Marie, Nikka Costa, etc., So when I came across this my eyes literally O_O

Apparently I'm Late

Heard this on the radio in Hampton, asked my friends about it, definitly came out a year ago but oh well I LOVE IT. The singers name is Duke and the producer, Mark Jackson also happens to be a HU alumni !!

Karma

Karma; noun
1. the principle of retributive justice determining a person's state of life and the state of his/her reincarnations as the effect of his/her past deeds
2.Fate; destiny

I rely heavily on Karma to come back to people. I've learned that some things are not in my hands anymore or possibly never have been. Instead of dwelling on this and that, I know your fate will happen aka Karma. What you put out to the world is exactly how its gonna come back to you. Adjust yourself accordingly.

Yup, Im Sold

Honestly I didn't even know Diggy rapped until I heard he got the deal with Atlantic Records. But even after he got signed I thought they only did it because he's Rev Run's son. So I finally listened to one of his song, and I loved it. he can actually flow better then some other rappers. I'm glad he's not tryna come out like Soulja Boy or Waka Flocka, I mean there cool but diggy being a 15 year old def makes them look bad... in my opinion

-Doesn't chase radio
-We are lasers #okbye
